Entre otras cosas, prev&eacute; que un tribunal pueda dictar &oacute;rdenes de alejamiento en un m&aacute;ximo de 72 horas una vez recibida una denuncia.</p>\r\n<div class=\"teads-inread\">&nbsp;</div>\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n<p class=\"Body\">&ldquo;La publicidad que ha recibido la ley ha disminuido el tab&uacute; sobre el problema, y m&aacute;s mujeres se deciden ahora a pedir ayuda&rdquo;, opina Liu Fengqin, psicoterapeuta jefe del centro Maple de asesoramiento para mujeres en Pek&iacute;n. Esta ONG ha visto aumentar en un tercio las llamadas que recibe desde marzo.</p>\r\n<p class=\"Body\">Pero existen a&uacute;n muchos obst&aacute;culos. La ley solo ampara a las parejas de distinto sexo que convivan, no a las relaciones LGBT o a las v&iacute;ctimas del hostigamiento de ex c&oacute;nyuges, entre otras. Tampoco act&uacute;a contra otros tipos de violencia, como la econ&oacute;mica o la sexual, ni impide que los abusadores puedan tener la custodia de sus hijos. Su aplicaci&oacute;n ha sido desigual: &ldquo;cambia mucho dependiendo del lugar. Pero todos los consejos eran que tratara de halagar a mi marido, para que estuviera tranquilo. Ped&iacute; a sus padres que intervinieran, pero para ellos los golpes eran algo normal. Su padre tambi&eacute;n pegaba a su madre&rdquo;, explica.</p>\r\n<p class=\"Body\">Ni siquiera la Polic&iacute;a la tom&oacute; en serio. &ldquo;Me dec&iacute;an, &lsquo;eres de Shandong, donde naci&oacute; Confucio. Y Confucio nos ense&ntilde;a a respetar y obedecer al cabeza de familia. Mira la edad de tu suegro, &iquest;no te da verg&uuml;enza causarle preocupaciones?&rdquo;.</p>\r\n<p class=\"Body\">Aunque el Gobierno insiste en la importancia de combatir esta violencia, el discurso pol&iacute;tico oficial subraya al mismo tiempo la importancia de mantener &iacute;ntegro el n&uacute;cleo familiar, que considera imprescindible para la estabilidad social. &ldquo;No importa cu&aacute;nto cambien los tiempos, no importa cu&aacute;nto cambien las estructuras sociales, todos debemos dar suma importancia a la solidez de la familia&rdquo;, sosten&iacute;a el a&ntilde;o pasado el presidente&nbsp;<a href=\"https://internacional.elpais.com/tag/xi_jinping/a/\">Xi Jinping</a>&nbsp;durante el Festival de Primavera, el equivalente a las Navidades chinas.</p>\r\n<p class=\"Body\">Ma Yixue, abogada y v&iacute;ctima tambi&eacute;n de la violencia dom&eacute;stica, reconoce que, hasta cierto punto, esas ideas tambi&eacute;n influyeron en su caso. No present&oacute; la demanda de divorcio hasta el a&ntilde;o pasado, despu&eacute;s de aguantar palizas durante tres a&ntilde;os. &ldquo;Fue muy duro. Estaba constantemente magullada y ten&iacute;a que atender al ni&ntilde;o, ir a trabajar, cuidar de la casa y lidiar con un marido violento. Pero pensaba que era mejor para mi hijo el crecer junto a su padre&rdquo;, explica.</p>\r\n<p class=\"Body\">Como abogada y como v&iacute;ctima, Ma se declara esc&eacute;ptica sobre los resultados de la ley. &ldquo;Promulgarla es f&aacute;cil, pero hacerla cumplir es complicado.
