La Cadena Báltica es un movimiento de protesta que tuvo lugar en Estonia, Lituania y Estonia el 23 de agosto de 1989. Se estima que más de un millón y medio de personas participaron en la creación de un cadena humana que cruzó estas tres repúblicas del Báltico con intención de reclamar su independencia de la URSS.
