Pero pronto desembocó en una simple transición negociada\npara crear una Monarquía parlamentaria, mediante un pacto elitista desde arriba entre las fracciones franquistas y antifranquistas\nde la \"nueva burguesía\", articuladora del capital y del Estado. A cambio de la democracia electoral y de la recuperación del\nparlamentarismo, los líderes (burgueses) de la oposición antifranquista ofrecieron tácitamente una autocontención o reducción de\nlos contenidos democráticos-populares o socioeconómicos de la transición. Y en consecuencia, tras la movilización del movimiento\nobrero y de las masas populares de 1975-76 (no sólo contra el régimen político franquista, sino en pro de reivindicaciones\neconómicas y sociales) tuvo lugar su desmovilización y \"desencanto\" programados por los propios cuadros de la oposición. A esta\ndesideologizacíón pronto se unieron los efectos disciplinarios de la crisis económica y del paro, provocando una crisis de la\nconciencia obrera. Sin embargo, a pesar de esta moderación de la primera transición (1975-1981), el intento de golpe de Estado\ndel 23F/81 por elementos residuales del antiguo régimen abrió una segunda transición (1982-1987) con el triunfo electoral del\nPSOE de 28 octubre/82. Pero superada la fase socialdemócrata (creación del Estado del bienestar...), el nuevo equipo gobernante\nconstituía una socialtecnocracia dispuesta a disciplinar a las masas trabajadoras para restablecer la rentabilidad empresarial.
