El primer &ldquo;tren bala&rdquo; sali&oacute; esta ma&ntilde;ana desde Pek&iacute;n rumbo a Cant&oacute;n, en el sur del pa&iacute;s, coincidiendo con el aniversario del nacimiento del l&iacute;der de la revoluci&oacute;n, Mao Tse-Tung.</p>\r\n<a name=\"sumario_1\"></a>\r\n<div class=\"sumario__interior\">\r\n<div class=\"sumario-texto\">\r\n<p class=\"texto_grande\">El tren que de Cant&oacute;n a Pek&iacute;n, tuvo una hora de retraso por culpa de la nieve y el hielo en los ra&iacute;les&nbsp;</p>\r\n</div>\r\n</div>\r\n<p>Tras una ceremonia con autoridades estatales, el primer tren que cubre el trayecto sali&oacute; a las 09.00 hora local (01.00 GMT) desde la Estaci&oacute;n Oeste de Pek&iacute;n, y una hora despu&eacute;s part&iacute;a en direcci&oacute;n contraria el primer ferrocarril desde Cant&oacute;n a la capital. El primer Pek&iacute;n-Cant&oacute;n fue puntual: cubri&oacute; el recorrido en 7 horas y 59 minutos. Sin embargo, para el sentido contrario, Cant&oacute;n-Pek&iacute;n, periodistas chinos a bordo del convoy aseguraron que lleg&oacute; con una hora de retraso, al parecer por nieve y hielo en los ra&iacute;les que afectaron m&aacute;s a los trenes que llegan en horas nocturnas al norte (con temperaturas de 17 grados bajo cero en Pek&iacute;n).</p>\r\n<a name=\"sumario_2\"></a>\r\n<div class=\"sumario__interior\">\r\n<div class=\"sumario-texto\">\r\n<p class=\"texto_grande\">Pek&iacute;n invirti&oacute; solo en noviembre unos 8.500 millones de euros en infraestructura de transporte</p>\r\n</div>\r\n</div>\r\n<p>El tren realiza 35 paradas. Para cubrir la distancia entre la capital y uno de los principales polos econ&oacute;micos del sur del pa&iacute;s (2.298 kil&oacute;metros) se necesitan ahora ocho horas, es decir, tres veces menos que los medios de transportes utilizados hasta ayer. Pero viajar con una velocidad media de 300 kil&oacute;metros por hora supone un coste m&iacute;nimo de unos 105 euros para la segunda clase, lo que en muchos casos es m&aacute;s de lo que cuesta un vuelo para el mismo recorrido (que supone un gasto medio de entre 97 y 145 euros). Un asiento en la zona m&aacute;s exclusiva, el &aacute;rea VIP, cuesta el equivalente a 360 euros.</p>\r\n<h3>La red m&aacute;s extensa del mundo</h3>\r\n<p>Las primeras l&iacute;neas de alta velocidad se estrenaron en China en 2007. Desde entonces, el pa&iacute;s se ha dotado de la red m&aacute;s extensa del mundo, al cubrir m&aacute;s de 8.000 kil&oacute;metros en 2010, una cifra que el Gobierno prev&eacute; doblar antes de 2020, pese a los problemas de corrupci&oacute;n y seguridad destapados en los &uacute;ltimos a&ntilde;os. Pek&iacute;n ha invertido unos 8.500 millones de euros en noviembre en infraestructura de transporte y un total de 61.000 millones en los primeros once meses del a&ntilde;o, seg&uacute;n la agencia Xinhua.</p>\r\n<p>Antes de convertirse en adalid del desarrollo, la alta velocidad necesita disipar las dudas sobre su seguridad. En julio del a&ntilde;o pasado, el choque entre dos trenes de alta velocidad se sald&oacute;&nbsp;<a href=\"https://internacional.elpais.com/internacional/2011/07/28/actualidad/1311804008_850215.html\">con 40 muertos y unos 200 heridos en Wenzhou</a>&nbsp;(en la provincia oriental de Zhejiang), cuando dos vagones cayeron desde el puente en el que qued&oacute; detenido el convoy que fue embestido. La investigaci&oacute;n oficial, sin embargo, achac&oacute; a un rayo la responsabilidad de lo ocurrido y acab&oacute; con la destituci&oacute;n de tres altos cargos. Aunque las autoridades aseguran que se ha avanzado mucho en materia de seguridad, las dudas persisten.
